Father joseph T. tran joins the parish of holy family

Reverend Fr. Joseph Thuong Tran was born in Saigon, Vietnam, on May 28. He began his spiritual calling as an altar server at an early age. Along with millions of Vietnamese refugees, Fr. Joseph and his family arrived in the United States in 1985. He attended seminary school in Wisconsin and Iowa and completed his priesthood education at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon. Fr. Joseph was ordained by Bishop Tod Brown on June 11, 2005, and has served at many parishes including St. Norbert, Holy Family “Cathedral”, St. Callistus, St. Polycarp and most recently, Holy Spirit in Fountain Valley. So, while some may be saying “Welcome BAAAACK, Father!”—let us all keep him in our prayers as he embarks this next chapter of his priestly ministry.
