Dear Friends at Holy Family Catholic Church,
As my time of vacation with your wonderful Parish comes to an end, I am filled with deep gratitude for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality you have shown me. I thank my Fr Sy Nguyen who invited me here for the first time in 2022, from which I feel I am now a Family member at this wonderful Parish. I am happy to have been here for my second time. Thank you to the Assistant priests (Fr. Cheeyoon and Fr. Charles) , the Parish staff, and the entire Christian community of Holy Family for making my stay here a truly blessed and memorable experience. The universality of the Catholic Church is profoundly exhibited.
Your faithfulness, kindness, and Christ-like love have been a true inspiration to me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening your arms and your hearts, and making me feel at home among you. I enjoyed the welcome that I received from this family of love and faith. Holy Family is indeed a family.
Though our time together has been brief, the impact you have had on my life will be lasting. I carry with me fond memories and a renewed spirit to continue my journey of faith as the Rector and Pastor of Our Lady of Good Shepherd, Rushoroza Cathedral Parish (Kabale Diocese, Uganda).
May God's peace and blessings be with you always. I bid you a heartfelt farewell, but know that you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. I am hopeful that by the grace of God we shall meet again.
