Established by Christ, the Papacy both shaped western civilization and was, in turn, shaped by it. The Papacy evolved from its humble beginnings to spending centuries at the center of world power. The men that have occupied the Chair of Peter have been Saints and Sinners and everything in between. Yet, despite the variety of their motives, all have demonstrated that Christ’s promises remain in effect: the Gates of Hell will not prevail against his Church and the Holy Spirit will guide it to all truth.

Come find out how the Papacy founded on Peter has served the Church for almost 2,000 years - how the Church survived the worst of them and thrived under the best.
