Easter Lilies
Thank you to all who will help decorate the church sanctuary this coming season!
At the Easter Vigil, we gather in darkness, awaiting the Light of Christ, represented by the Paschal Candle, to dispel the shadows of sin and death. As its flame spreads from one candle to another, the growing light symbolizes Christ’s victory over darkness and the spreading of His grace among the faithful.
The sweet fragrance of Easter lilies and the rich aroma of incense evoke the beauty of holiness and the promise of eternal life. The church is filled with signs of new life—flowers and lilies reminding us of Christ’s triumph over death and our hope in the resurrection.
We need helping hands to prepare the church for these sacred celebrations. Volunteering with the Liturgical Environment Ministry is a meaningful and flexible way to serve behind the scenes. By assisting with decorating, you help create a reverent and beautiful space that fosters deeper spiritual reflection and enhances the worship experience for the entire parish.
If you have a morning or evening to help us prepare, please contact the parish office to help with environment for the holidays, (714) 639-2900 or email parish@hforange.org
We also invite parishioners to sponsor Easter lilies in honor or memory of a loved one. To participate, please visit our parish office or use the form below:
